Shan Koe Mee — Myanmar's most-loved card game
Shan Koe Mee is one of the most traditional card games played across Myanmar. The goal is to draw matching cards and get a hand totalling 9 points — or as close to 9 as possible — making it easy for new players to pick up. On the jdkx platform you can play 24 hours a day, whenever it suits you.
Whether you are in Yangon or anywhere else in the country, you can play Shan Koe Mee at jdkx with a stake that suits you. The connection responds quickly and you can play on your mobile without any download, which makes it very convenient.
The appeal of this game lies in its straightforward rules and fast round times. A single round finishes quickly, making it ideal for players who like to keep the action going. On jdkx, Shan Koe Mee tables can be found under the main Live Casino section.
Shan Koe Mee Rules and How to Play
Shan Koe Mee is played with a 4-, 8-, or 12-deck card system. Each player receives 2 or 3 cards, and only the last digit of the total counts. For example — if you draw a 7 and a 5, the total is 12, drop the tens digit, and your hand is worth 2 points.
A hand scoring 9 (or the closest to 9) beats the dealer. The dealer's points and the player's points are compared head to head, and whoever has the higher score wins. On a tie, the dealer generally wins by default — though you can read the exact rule for each table in advance in jdkx's Table Rules.
Some tables also include a side bet type where players can earn a bonus when the dealer has a 3-card hand. These side bets are separate from the main game and players can choose to place them or not.
Placing a Bet
Place your desired bet amount on the table using chips. You can check the minimum bet for each table individually.
Dealing Cards
The dealer deals 2 cards to each player. If the points are not enough, up to 3 cards can be drawn.
Determining the Result
The player closest to 9 points wins and is paid out immediately.

Difference between Shan Koe Mee and Baccarat
In Shan Koe Mee, the player faces the dealer directly and makes their own decisions about their cards. In Baccarat, those betting on the Player or Banker side have no say in card-drawing decisions. Because of this difference, Shan Koe Mee appeals more to players who want to be in control of their own gameplay.
